Production Methods

Prepared by heating formoyl hydrazide. Heat formoyl hydrazide at normal pressure for 3 hours,
raise the bath temperature from 50℃ to 200℃,and then cool to about 100℃, and dissolve the syrup in 95% ethanol,
add activated carbon for decolorization, and then dilute the filtrate with ether,
cool and crystallize, and filter. Wash and dry with a 1:2 ethanol-ether mixed solvent to
obtain a crude product,and then recrystallize with 95% hot ethanol and ether to obtain a pure product.
Formoyl hydrazide can be obtained by the reaction of ethyl formate and hydrazine hydrate.
